Why am I doing this?
Well it was this or the army. For a long time I had no idea
what the hell I wanted to be or what to do with me self. It was only after I went to
a connexions meeting and said I wanted to do something in ICT that I found out
about a game design course at Stratford upon Avon College. So I did that for 2
years. I work on a lot of different things like level design, 3D environments,
3D and 2D animation and other things but it was the art that I was most interested in and why I wanted to go too De Montfort university.
How did I get here?
It’s been hard but I got here. For someone who does not come
from an art background I had to put in a lot of time improving my drawing skill
in my own time and going to art lessons, which I really miss because of my
Teacher and all the great people I meet when I was there but beacuse of them I put together a portfolio that I could use for my interview.
Where do I want to
go?
There are many paths and roads I can go. Some I think I can
see where they go but don’t know if they will bend off in an unexpected way. Some
of them are coved by fog or a mist and can’t see where they go. Some of the
look more well-kept then others But the thing is no matter which one I pick
they will all have their ups and downs to them and all I can do is keep going
but saying all that, once I complete this course I would like to work for a
games company or maybe start up my own, but I would also be happy doing
animation or CG for films because I have done it in college before and loved
it.
